Curriculum
Alyssa’s signature writing program has three main categories:
1. Fundamentals of Writing.
An overview of foundational writing skills that are essential for every type of writing (narrative, opinion, report). These are the intuitive (but often neglected) basics that every writer should know.
2. The Reading/Writing Connection.
An integrated approach to writing first introduced through the lens of a reader. Thoughtful readers make thoughtful writers, and thoughtful writers make thoughtful readers, when they know what to look for. These lessons will train individuals to notice the unstated nuances of writing to then apply these best practices into their own writing.
3. Writing Techniques.
A plethora of unique, innovative, and before-unnamed writing techniques for the individual looking to fine-tune his/her craft and take their writing to the next level.
